Mieczysław Weinberg Institute
Foundation dedicated to the legacy of the Polish-Jewish composer - events, research, education.
About the project
The Mieczysław Weinberg Institute is an organisation founded to centre its work around the legacy of the composer – a Polish-Jewish creator whose biography and music remained in the shadows for decades.
The foundation was established in February 2020 by Anna Laskowska, Aleksander Laskowski and Maria Sławek. Its activities cover commemoration, research, education and musical events.
